Playnest

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 29, 2026

Playnest: Fun & Offline Games (“Playnest”, the “App”) lets you play a collection of mini games without installing each one. This policy explains what information the App collects, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. “We”, “us” and “our” mean the Playnest team that operates the App.

Summary

  • You can use Playnest without an account. We identify your installation with a random ID, not with your name.
  • If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile photo so your favorites, play history and game progress follow you to a new device.
  • We record how the App is used (for example which games are opened and for how long) to run, fix and improve it. Detailed usage records are deleted after 30 days.
  • Playnest is free and shows ads. Advertising partners collect device and advertising identifiers to show and measure ads. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent first, and you can change your choice at any time.
  • We do not sell your personal information for money.
  • You can ask us to delete your data at any time: see Delete your data.

Information we collect

Collected automatically

  • Installation ID — a random identifier created when you first open the App. It is not linked to your name and changes if you reinstall.
  • Device and app details — device model, Android version, app version, app language, and whether the App was installed from Google Play.
  • Approximate location — the country and network provider derived from your connection. We do not store your IP address and do not use GPS or precise location.
  • Usage information — games you open, play time, scores or levels a game reports, searches, screens you view, buttons you tap, downloads, notifications you open, and ads you see or interact with.
  • Diagnostics — crash reports and technical logs (for example the game that was open when a problem happened).

Information you give us

  • Google sign-in (optional) — your Google account ID, name, email address and profile photo.
  • Preferences — the game genres you pick, your settings, favorite games and app ratings you give.
  • Game progress (when signed in) — saved progress of the games you play, so it can be restored on another device.
  • Messages — anything you send to our support address, including device details the App adds to the email.

Stored only on your device

Downloaded games, cached game files, game progress (unless you sign in) and most settings are stored on your device. Uninstalling the App or clearing its data removes them.

Information collected by partners

Some features rely on services from other companies that collect information directly from the App under their own privacy policies:

How we use information

  • To provide the App: load games, keep your favorites and history, sync them and your game progress when you sign in, and remember your settings.
  • To recommend games and build sections such as “Continue playing”.
  • To send notifications you allow, such as new games or reminders to continue a game.
  • To understand how the App is used, measure performance, and fix crashes and broken games.
  • To show ads that keep Playnest free, limit how often they appear, and measure them; and, where you have agreed, to personalize them.
  • To process the “Remove ads” purchase and restore it on a new device.
  • To prevent fraud, abuse and invalid ad activity, and to keep the App secure.
  • To answer your messages and to comply with legal obligations.

We process your information because it is necessary to provide the App you asked for; because of our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving a free, ad-supported app; on the basis of your consent (for example for personalized advertising and notifications), which you can withdraw at any time; and where the law requires it.

How we share information

  • Service providers that host, analyze or support the App for us, bound to use the information only for that purpose.
  • Advertising and measurement partners listed above.
  • Legal reasons — when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users, the public or us.
  • Business changes — if the App is transferred as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

We do not sell personal information for money. Letting advertising partners collect identifiers for personalized ads may count as “sharing” or a “sale” under some US state laws; you can opt out as described in Your choices.

How long we keep information

  • Detailed usage records: deleted after 30 days. We keep daily totals that do not identify you.
  • Installation record, favorites, play history, game progress and ratings: kept while you use the App, and deleted when you ask us to delete your data.
  • Google sign-in details: kept until you delete your account.
  • Support emails: kept as long as needed to help you, then deleted.
  • Partners keep the information they collect according to their own policies.

Your choices

  • Ad consent — where consent is required (for example in the EEA and UK), open Settings › Privacy options in the App to change your choice.
  • Advertising ID — on Android go to Settings › Privacy › Ads (or Google › Ads) to reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of personalized ads.
  • Notifications — turn them off in the App settings or in Android settings.
  • Google account — sign out in Settings. Signing out does not delete data we already hold; to do that, see Delete your data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your local data protection authority. California and other US state residents may also request to know what we collect and ask us not to sell or share it; we will not treat you differently for exercising these rights. To make a request, email support@dmobin.com. We may need to confirm the request comes from you.

Children

Playnest is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use encrypted connections, access controls and limited retention to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International transfers

We and our partners may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Games and links from third parties

Games in Playnest are made by other developers. Some games load content from their developers’ own servers, and links may take you to other websites or apps. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the App.
